Brent Melson – VP Engineering, Qualitest

Brent Melson is the Vice President of Engineering at Qualitest. Brent is involved solution engineering as well as the design and implementation of quality assurance programs and projects for a variety of business verticals. An industry expert in a number of topics including SDLC, firewall performance and evaluation, router management and network performance, functional automation, and well versed in a variety of IT protocols and security devices, he is a published author in trade communications including Byte Magazine, Data Communications, fiercedeveloper.com and TechZone. Brent has over 25 years of experience in the IT testing field covering diverse disciplines such as the creation of synthetic benchmarks, design of usability studies, design and implementation of DevOps, and implementation and creation of device and product acceptance programs.

He holds a B.S. in Computer Science from the University of Delaware and resides just outside Philadelphia, PA with his wife Kirsten.

Martin McDonagh – Lead Solutions Architect, SmartBear

Martin is a Lead Solutions Architect at SmartBear, responsible for the Enterprise and Channel business and has worked in the IT industry for over 10 years.  

Over the last 5 years with SmartBear, Martin has worked between SmartBear's EMEA office in Ireland and APAC office in Melbourne, Australia where he was based for 3 years heading up Solutions Engineering for the region.

Now back in Ireland, Martin works with Enterprise and SmartBear's partners to map and architect SmartBearsolutions into the landscape and provide training and enablement across the EMEA, US and APAC regions.
