Kiran Kamity – Founder & CEO, DeepFactor

Kiran has 20+ years of deep domain expertise in app security, DevOps, software virtualization, cloud computing, and containerization. He served as the Head of Product for Cisco’s Cloud BU after his startup, ContainerX, was acquired by Cisco, and subsequently evolved into the Cisco Container Platform.

Kiran was also Founder/VP at RingCube, where his team created a container runtime for Windows before Docker. After its acquisition by Citrix, Kiran served in leadership roles for Citrix’s XenDesktop business unit. Being a passionate serial Silicon Valley entrepreneur, Kiran is now the Founder and CEO at DeepFactor.io.

He graduated with a Masters in Electrical Engineering from Stanford University and a Bachelors of Technology, Materials Science, from Indian Institute of Technology, Madras. He is a TEDx speaker and a passionate advocate for early-in-career entrepreneurship.
